Terms and conditions for using our services
Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using the services of Regal Inventories Ltd ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
Services Provided
Regal Inventories Ltd provides professional property inventory services including:
- Property inventory reports
- Check-in and check-out inspections
- Interim property inspections
- Property photography and documentation
Booking and Payment
Booking: All bookings must be confirmed in writing (email or written confirmation). We reserve the right to decline any booking request.
Payment Terms: Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed. We accept bank transfers and other payment methods as agreed.
Late Payment: Late payments may incur additional charges and may affect future service provision.
Cancellation Policy
Client Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee.
Our Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. We will provide as much notice as possible and offer alternative dates.
Access to Property
The client is responsible for ensuring our inventory clerks have safe and unobstructed access to the property at the agreed time. If access cannot be provided, this may result in additional charges or the need to reschedule the appointment.
Report Delivery
We aim to deliver all inventory reports within 24-48 hours of the inspection, unless otherwise agreed. Reports are delivered electronically via email. Hard copies may be available upon request for an additional fee.
Accuracy of Reports
We strive to provide accurate and detailed reports. However, our reports are based on visual inspection and may not identify hidden defects or issues not visible during the inspection. We are not liable for any undiscovered defects or issues.
Liability
Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the specific service. We are not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential losses
- Loss of profits or business opportunities
- Disputes arising from the use or interpretation of our reports
- Any damage to property during the inspection, unless caused by our negligence
Professional Indemnity Insurance
We maintain appropriate professional indemnity insurance to cover our services. Details of our insurance coverage are available upon request.
Intellectual Property
All reports, photographs, and documentation remain the intellectual property of Regal Inventories Ltd. Clients are granted a license to use the reports for their intended purpose but may not reproduce, distribute, or sell the content without our written permission.
Confidentiality
We treat all client information and property details as confidential and will not disclose information to third parties without consent, except where required by law.
Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection laws and our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing.
Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us immediately. We have a formal complaints procedure and will work to resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
